Biographical Info

Ursula Jacobs-Guidry is a highly motivated educator, digital librarian, and technology instructor.  Mrs. Jacobs-Guidry has served as Library/Literacy Leader in academic, public and school libraries, where she has consistently brought strong organizational, technical, and communication skills to gathering and sharing information through practical advice and instruction in person and virtually. A gifted storyteller in both traditional Griot and digital formats, she conveys impactful narratives that educate and resonate with diverse audiences. As a storyteller, family, and church historian, she uses AI-powered digital storytelling to preserve and share historical knowledge in compelling ways.
 
Jacobs-Guidry earned a Masters in Library Science from North Carolina Central University, Masters in Education Instructional Technology from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Sociology from Salem College.
