Biographical Info

Lee Davis is the Circulation Services Evening Library Supervisor at Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU). He holds a Master of Library Science with a concentration in Archives and Records Management from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of North Carolina Asheville, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Carolina.
 
Lee’s academic background in history, interdisciplinary studies, and library science informs his approach to academic library services, emphasizing organization, access, and thoughtful stewardship of information. His training in archives and records management supports his commitment to accuracy, accountability, and sustainable library operations.
In his current role at JCSU, Lee oversees evening circulation services and supervises student employees to ensure consistent, welcoming access to library resources for students, faculty, and staff. He works collaboratively with library colleagues to maintain efficient operations and support student success during evening hours.
 
Outside of work, Lee enjoys movies, writing, and spending time in the mountains. These interests reflect his appreciation for storytelling, creativity, and spaces that encourage reflection and exploration.
